With only 60 people working for the company back then, it is now the largest SUV & Pickup manufacturer in China with more than 70,000 employees. Wei led Great Wall Motor to change towards new energy and intelligence, and now specializes in design, research and development, production, and sales and services of automobiles and parts. Along with this change and Wei’s enterprise spirit of “making progress little by little everyday”, Great Wall Motor became an outstanding automobile company not just in China, but all over the world. In 2021, Great Wall Motor’s domestic and overseas sales grew and is predicted to continue growing in the years to come.
